We clean the accessible areas around garbage chutes — hopper rooms, hopper doors, chute surrounds, and the discharge area at the base. Full internal chute cleaning requires specialist equipment and is a separate service. We flag chute condition issues in our cleaning log and recommend when a full chute service is warranted.

For drains and bin interiors with accumulated organic residue, we use an enzyme-based treatment that breaks down the bacteria producing the smell rather than masking it. After 2–3 treatment visits most persistent odour problems are significantly reduced.

Yes. Every cleaning visit produces a written log confirming areas cleaned, products used, time of service, and any maintenance observations. We can also provide WHMIS data sheets for all products used. This documentation package is directly usable in your RentSafeTO compliance records and will be accepted in a City audit.

We use WHMIS-compliant bactericidal and deodorizing cleaners appropriate for waste environments. These are commercial-grade products but they do not require building evacuation or special ventilation beyond what the garbage room already has. All product data sheets are available on request for your MSDS files.
