Terms of Service
The terms governing use of this website and the commercial cleaning services provided by Profound Cleaning Inc. across Toronto and the GTA.
These terms govern use of the profoundcleaning.ca website and the commercial cleaning services provided by Profound Cleaning Inc. (“Profound Cleaning”, “we”, “us”). By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
Where you have signed a separate written service agreement with us, that agreement governs the services and takes precedence over these terms wherever the two differ.
1. Who we are
Profound Cleaning Inc. provides commercial cleaning services to businesses and property managers in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.
3100 Steeles Ave W, Suite 206A, Concord, Ontario, L4K 3R1

2. Using this website
This website is provided for general information about our services. You may view and print pages for your own business purposes. You may not copy, republish or redistribute our content, images or page structure for commercial use without our written permission.
All content on this site, including text, images, layout and branding, remains the property of Profound Cleaning Inc. or its licensors.
You agree not to use this site in any way that damages it, interferes with its availability, or attempts to gain unauthorised access to it or to any connected system.
3. Quotes and pricing
Any price shown on this website or given verbally is an estimate only. A binding price is provided in a written quote following a site walkthrough, because the scope of commercial cleaning depends on factors that cannot be assessed remotely.
Written quotes remain valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise. Prices exclude applicable taxes unless expressly stated.
Where work falls outside the agreed written scope, we will confirm the additional cost with you before carrying it out.
4. Scope of services
The services we provide are those set out in your written scope document. Anything not listed in that document is not included.
The following are outside the scope of our services in all cases:
- Sterilisation of medical or dental instruments, which is a clinical procedure carried out by qualified staff
- Handling, transport or disposal of biomedical, hazardous or sharps waste
- Mould remediation, asbestos work, or any other designated substance work
- Building maintenance, repairs, plumbing, electrical or other trades work
- Pest control treatment
- Work at height requiring specialised access equipment, unless separately agreed in writing
Where we identify an issue outside our scope during a visit, we will report it to you rather than attempt to address it.
5. Access to your premises
You are responsible for providing safe and timely access to the areas being serviced, including keys, fobs, access codes, security clearance or elevator booking where required.
Where our staff attend as scheduled and cannot gain access through no fault of ours, the visit may be charged at the agreed rate.
Any keys or access devices you provide are held securely, logged, and returned on termination of the agreement.
6. Your responsibilities
To allow us to work safely and effectively, you agree to:
- Tell us in advance about hazards, restricted areas, or site-specific safety requirements
- Secure cash, confidential documents, and items of unusual value
- Provide a safe working environment, including adequate lighting and functioning utilities
- Tell us about any change to the premises, occupancy or use that materially affects the agreed scope
7. Staff, insurance and safety
Our cleaning staff are covered by WSIB and by our commercial liability insurance. A certificate of insurance can be provided on request, which many buildings require before granting access.
We remain the employer of our staff at all times. During the term of your agreement and for six months afterwards, you agree not to directly employ or engage any member of our staff assigned to your site without our written consent.
8. Scheduling, cancellation and termination
Recurring services are performed on the schedule set out in your written scope. Where a scheduled visit falls on a statutory holiday, we will agree an alternative date with you in advance.
For one-off or project work, please give at least 48 hours notice to reschedule or cancel. Cancellation with less notice may be charged where staff have already been committed to the booking.
Either party may terminate a recurring agreement by giving 30 days written notice, unless your signed service agreement states a different period. We do not operate lock-in contracts.
9. Payment
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date. Recurring services are generally invoiced monthly.
We may suspend services on accounts that remain unpaid beyond the agreed terms, after giving you written notice and a reasonable opportunity to settle.
10. Service concerns
If any part of a service does not meet the agreed scope, tell us within 24 hours of the visit. We will return and correct the work at no additional charge.
Raising a concern promptly matters, because cleaning results change as a space is used, and a same-day report lets us establish what happened.
11. Liability
We accept responsibility for loss or damage caused by our negligence, and our insurance exists for exactly that purpose. Report any suspected damage within 24 hours so it can be investigated while the circumstances are clear.
We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear consistent with the age and condition of a surface, damage arising from a defect you did not disclose, or the failure of a surface, finish or item that was already deteriorated.
Except where the law does not permit it to be limited, our total liability in connection with the services is limited to the value of the services provided in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or business interruption.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Ontario law.
12. Confidentiality
Our staff work in occupied premises, often outside business hours, and frequently around confidential material. We treat any information encountered in the course of the work as confidential, and our staff are instructed accordingly.
We will not photograph your premises for marketing purposes without your written permission.
13. Privacy
Information you submit through this website is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the current one, and the date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes affecting an active service agreement will be communicated to you directly.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it. The courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
16. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to info@profoundcleaning.ca or raised by phone on +1 (647) 567-9992. To discuss a service agreement, contact us or request a quote.
